She's playing at being the invalid  she had it done Thursday and she came home in a white vest top that had been turned too red  she wanted it done too follow the crowd and now she's regretting it, my last words too her when she left the house was, don't come crying too me if it goes wrong, an hour later she's on the phone crying  i've been cleaning it and it doesn't hurt her but we'll have too keep a close eye on it, teenages  she'll turn me grey before i'm 40  i don't like this stage of being a mum at all, i want her too be little again 

I had mine done years ago (when I had an actual stomach not a whippy icecream belly) and it was gross for a week or two.  It looked infected but I just made sure to clean it 2 or 3 times a day and it healed up quickly.  Just tell her to keep it verrrrry clean and dont poke at it too much!

Bit like pierced ears the first tie you get them done really 

I can't remember getting my ears done because I was only about 4.  However my mum always reminds me that I cursed rather vulgarly when they shot the earring through and my holier than thou aunt beat the crap outta me when we got outside the shop   She had taken me to get them done as a birthday pressie and I'd showed her up.

Oo-er!      I think I was about eighteen (many moons ago)  and I remember having to have some dutch courage before hand, but actually it wasn't too bad when they did it. It was a bloody pain bathing with Dettol every day for about six weeks though and turning them every day. And the day I took them out to put proper studs in.....

When daughter had her ears done at 4, i gave her some pick and mix and she didn't even jump  she's now got 7 in each ear (same as me)  she's been after a tattoo but i've talked her out of it so far (i have 1 but i think she's too young at the mo)

At this time???  You should be in your PJs like us!

And just to let you all know....the pre-mixed Cosmopolitan from Sainsburys is effing rank!  I've had to drown it with Ribena and Dr Pepper to smother the taste

I'm off shortly to put me nightie on and hop into bed. That said, I sometimes log off from here, sit on the settee and fall asleep into the wee small hours and wake up and realise I should be in bed 

I just wanted something other than wine tonight but suppose it's best to stick with what we know eh?   Carribean Twist on the other hand is delish!  I can't get the Pineapple version here (tasted it in Scotland) so the mango one is a close second and it's yummy.  Should have bought another bottle of that instead of the Cosmo crap.  My eye is bigger than my belly sometimes

Actually that Twist sounds nice. I may look for it 

It's lovely and refreshing and not too strong (unless you add some extra vodka ) 

LOL!!   I don't normally drink vodka but if that's what it takes.........

BTW i'm not in my pj's (whispers) i'm in my leggings, I DO NOT wear them in public but i do find them dead comfy 

Are we not allowed to wear leggings in public?   But they're so comfy!

*disclaimer*: I don't wear them without a top/dress long enough to cover my ass and thighs.

See, this is what bugs me too! Everyone to their own. Why should peeps have to follow fashion. 

It's all about what suits you and what you're comfortable in isn't it?
