The lush Gyps is cooking a 3 course meal for us, to round off our child free weekend...I have no idea what I am having!! **excited**
I have been hungover most of the day, took the cats out and Zeus got stuck up a tree, so I had to climb up after him (wearing flip flops) so, I am well happy with the being waited on hand and foot!!!
Gonna stuff my face and chill out!!

No, I had bacon, mushrooms and cream Spaghetti Carbonary. (sp) with a very spicy tomato salad to address the blandish main meal. 
I had takeaway. Blackened Cajun Chicken escalope, garlic potatoes, tobacco onions and pepper sauce. It was alright, nothing special. I feel a bit sick now though.
Oink at 180 degrees for two hours.

so i had a cheese and onion pasty with jacket spud and mushy peas
but that was for breakfast-at about 6am

Roast chicken and lamb, roast taties, yorkie puds, cauliflower, carrots, runner beans, cabbage with leeks, gravy and mint sauce followed by fruit salad (strawberries, raspberries, banana and grapes) with Raspberry Sorbet. Everyones gone home now although my oldest grandson has stayed for a sleepover.

had it been an episode of dinner date....Gyps just pulled!!!
Starters was Bruschetta (black olive paste, basil and chard tomato) and tomato, goats cheese, pesto and mozzarella stack....it was divine!!
Main was various mushrooms in a white wine and herb sauce in puff pastry with celeriac mash and green beans cooked with garlic and roasted pine nuts...also LUSH!!!
Desert was an AMAZING raspberry and white chocolate mouse with homemade shortbread....The rest of my desert is in the fridge til a bit later, I am so full, I can hardly move, so we are stretched out with a glass of rum and coke, and doing NOTHING!!
It was truly wonderful! Nigella has nothing on Gyps!!

it really was amazing!! Though I lost points for making no effort and turning up at the dinner table in my PJs, And now Gyps has no excuses to not cook...Really she should have messed it all up so I would never want her to cook again...But now I will be expecting the same again more often!
Zazz sometimes talent only shines once....If you you are going to be disappointed the next, and every time after Gyps cooks........I would advise her to put down those pots and pans.
