I read about that Mr M P. An amazing young lady , and I thought her mum was fantastic too. I would have been a hysterical wreck .
J: I love you even if I still misbehave from time to time
my goodness
reading that made me get all teary!
I've had some tense text conversations with my daughter, especially over the last two years when she was away at school, especially when she was away at school & out on a night... and I would be fraught with feelings of helplessness cos I was not there to do anything... and that was just when she had missed her ride back to school or something.
The Mum did well to keep as calm as she did.
God I hate the bloke that did this
this whole thing is just so dreadful... .the guy must have picked an Island cos there was no where for anybody to run..
I feel for the parents so much who were waiting to hear if their kids were safe, and the poor kids who lost their lives... and for the ones that survived who will have to live with this for the rest of their lives.. such a tragedy

I really can't imagine how they'll get over the sheer terror and horror of it all. It'll leave horrible memories etched in their head forever I'd think.
this was mentioned on matthew wright's show this morning and natalie pinkerton was crying as she read it
It made me very teary too when I read it. It's unimaginable having to go through something like that!
It also made me smile when the mum was asking the daughter about flights for the next day, and the daughter replied she didn't have time to think about that now. I know the mum was just saying anything she could to keep the contact going...... but I can't help imagining the daugher thinking WTF?
Brave, brave people!

I thought the same
I don't understand why anyone would make texts like that public. I started to read the transcript but felt it was really ghoulish.
Bloody hell that was incredible!

It was! An incredibly moving individual testimony.
Did you hear about the 11 year old boy who stood up to the gunman, after his dad had just been killed, and told him that 'he was too young to die'?
Apparently, the gunmen let him live too.

It's stories like this that makes what appears surreal incredibly and sadly poignant. I'm still blown away by the mass rally of Norwegians all holding a single rose. It signifies to me that whatever hatred the perpetrator hoped to stir up, he has failed miserably in his mission.
The guy on R5 Sat morning
That was very moving.

It is a way of showing the reality of the victims, and their families, when horror is facing them.......

That's a good tribute. (I don't know if that's the right word but you know what I mean)
