She has been arrested, but not charged, and she is still innocent until proven guilty.
I'm not sure why you think the case is being corrupted. 
THe focus will become on her - and perhaps her alone . . . and IF it is NOT her then it will have done plenty harm to the case

Well, hopefully, they are investigating it thoroughly, but, if they find a suspect, they are surely right to arrest them?
How would you deal with it?

I am not understanding you Renton, lots of work is being done to find out what has happened here. there are batch numbers on these bags, and hopefully it can be contained. As far as know this woman has not been charged yet. It does seem to be contained to one hospital, and there are CCTV cameras , especially in the pharmacy department, where these things are kept. Saline and insulin , are separate things and i doubt if the manufacturers are to blame, as the two would never be manufactured in the same place .

And she hasn't be proven guilty so why plaster her face eveywhere?
Wot purpose does it serve other than to potentially ruin an innocent persons life
If the police has a suspect aint that enough - why make her public?
Thats the press for you Renton, if she is innocent i hope the fact is published too
We don't have anonymity in such cases, and I'm not sure it would be possible, when all the staff at the hospital and all her neighbours know that she is a suspect.
If she's innocent and the press go to town on her, then I hope she sues them, like the Bristol landlord did, I believe.
But, in this case, I don't think the Police could do anything about all that.

Are you not aware of the hullabaloo that ensues if someone that is arrested is subsequently released?
In so many cases it is generally assumed that the person arrested is guilty and so lots of folk are angry if that person is released.

She's been charged now with 6 cases of 'Damage with intent' also with stealing medicine from the hospital
The toll so far:-
5 dead
1 seriously ill
8 other cases being investigated
It must also be horrendous for any other nurse who may have been the person who set up any patients with any of the infected bags.
