How weird is that?

Exactly!  I saw them on sale at the butchers on Saturday and the thought of eating them made me quiver.  I LOVE hen's eggs though.  Maybe I should be brave and change a duck egg because I love the yolk so the bigger the better!

Ooooooooooooh.. marks on shopping list........Goose Eggs.......

Just the one to start with. They are humungous and will probably feed a whole family for breakfast. You will probably have to use a hammer to break the the shell though. I have had afew of them and they are very tasty but tend to be seasonal.

I don't think I preferred the taste, but having more yolk was fab - I love a good dippy egg

See.. .now you're reinforcing my 'yuck' thought..

Duck eggs are strong tasting and are something you either love or hate. Lots of other eggs are out there though- Quail. Pigeon and those they sell in Thailand- the fermented embryonic eggs that seem gross. Anyone tried them? I bow to you if you have.
