Has anyone followed it? I'm 54 ................I think they're a year older than me ..................it should be on fairly soon as 56 up. I think I've seen them all certainly since the fourteen years old one ....................I find it fascinating. The very first reality programme if you like. I'm so glad that these people haven't been hounded and we know every detail - it's lovely catching up with them every seven years. It's like old friends!

I`ve followed it Soozy. I particularly remember the 7 yr old "ragamuffin" who turned out to be a good solid family man. He was a London cabbie, the last time I saw it.
I have seen some of them,the one I remember is the guy was living in a caravan,he was really down on his luck.He had sort of opted out of society.

Just read up on them.I remember the the guy who stood as a local government councillor.
I love 7 Up. I had to watch it for GCSE Sociology and ended up becoming hooked. I loved Neil (??) the hermit who became a Lib Dem local councillor, the cabbie who was also a jockey and film extra, and one of the public school boys who went to teach in a Comprehensive for a while.
I would go as far as saying it's my fave. ever reality show....you just have to wait 7 years for updates.

The waiting seven years is what makes it special. I love Bruce - the little public schoolboy who's parents were missionaries ....................actually I love them all - especially the three working class girls (sorry it's the easiest way to describe them) - I see myself in them - as I am only a year younger than them. I LOVE IT ...................can't wait for the next catch up!

Oh without a doubt! The 3 chatty working class girls were a riot. They were bubbly children who turned in to bubbly adults (in spite of all that life threw at them). I agree with you, they all had something lovable about them and it's so nice to catch up with them (even though more and more of them seem to withdraw from the process).
Tony the cab driver has been in an ad recently but I'm buffered if I can remember what for...standing next to his cab. It's not a product ad though,

Never took to posh girl Susie although she did mellow with the years ..........................just remembered that little boy in the orphanage who didn't like greens .............awwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww - he went and made a life in Australia. Oooooooooooh I'm getting a bit excited now.
I love this programme, I've watched it all my life and I'm 50 this year.
I remember a lot of the characters that everyone else remembers too. One thing I do remember is a couple of the people saying that knowing that the programme would be catching up with them again in a years time made them really look at their lives and assess it.
