now i know there are a few take that fans here............have you been to see them on this tour?....if so....what did you think?......

i went last night to see them at wembley.....i'd heard it was bigger and better than the circus tour........i didn't think so.........not as spectacular.....and i thought they finished with a very weak song unlike the previous tour with the fireworks and stomping version of rule the world

robbie seemed off his chops for his solo, and got roundly booed for slagging the crowd in manchester..(not a good idea to slate your audience)

i think it proved that having him back was a mistake....though i enjoyed his solo spot and he got the crowd going......but it just seemed all about him throughout the show

but it was still a cracking night........any T'T'S thoughts??

Well....... I have to agree with everything you have just said.

We saw them the first night in "maanchesta" (<....said in manchester accent)

Robbie didnt slag any of the audience off that night but i  dont think he added anything. Now i am NOT a robbie fan but i cant blame it all on him. WELL thats a lie, i was a robbie fan when i went to the bar when he was on and it was totally and utterly EMPTY. yayy for robbie

I think they ended with a weak song, i didnt think the man was as spectacular as the elephant, was slightly confused by the 'theme' all together.

It just didnt seem to flow, it didnt do what the circus did. They got it bang on with the circus, the order of the songs, the set, the whole thing was like a magical journey and thats really hard to get accross to someone who wasnt there. It was magical.

I know its not all about the show, its meant to be about the artists, but they have a lot to live up to after they created these amazing stage shows.

I have to say, i dont know if ive a feeling in my water that the same passion wasnt there. Maybe robbie in the mix doesnt work, or maybe its nearing and end.

But sadly id agree this tour isnt as good in my opinion.

completely agree gyps...........i was disappointed...but not disappointed if that makes sense??

robbie hardly sang last night.....he did bits through his songs but spent most of his spot pointing the mic at the audience and effing and blinding!!!...he then had a little chat where he stated 'manchester was shit'..........he got booed.....and retorted.'don't boo.don't blame me it's your fault'

i just got the impression he thinks it's the 'robbie williams' show......i can't deny he's a great showman....i saw him at knebworth and he was brilliant

the mechanical man seemed a waste of time!..it was only the last 20 minutes or so it featured.....eventually standing upright.........that's 'progress'!!.........but i thought it started weak........and finished weak.......you're right....it didn't flow like the previous tour

some of the new songs from the progress album just weren't doing it for a 85,000 crowd...i understand why they play the stronger songs.....but i thought a few were very weak..and i really can't understand why they finished with the song they did.........massive mistake.....no one was dancing or singing..it finished on a damp squib i thought

I know what you mean about being disappointed but not. Any tt night is a great night, but i was looking foward to that same 'feeling' i got at the circus, i wanted, hairs on the back of your neck moments, but it wasnt happening.

Be interesting to see what devil in diamantÃĐ thinks when she gets here as she went the same night as me.

have to agree again gyps!........it just seemed disjointed this time......i dunno whether that's cos it was them as a 4...then robbie......then them as a 5......with the circus show it felt like they really were gobsmacked at the crowd and the response..it didn't feel like that this time.it felt 'staged'......

rzb is going too.....be interesting to hear what he thinks as well!!!

Sorry if I offend Take That fans... but they're just dire now...   I don't know if it's since Robbie rejoined or what, but when they made their comeback 5 years ago or whenever it was; I thought they were OK (and I did like them in the early to mid 90s,) but they are just so crap now IMO.   They are almost embarrassing.. KIDZ was a terrible ditty IMO.  'Wot yer looking at?'  Sorry, but a middle aged man putting a voice of a teenager on, and singing in that 'manc' accent is just wrong.  I can hardly bear to watch them now.  They need to give it up.  They're WAAAAAY past their sell by date! The songs are just not good now, they're not 21 anymore, and they should stop acting like they are.

Not a fan sorry but just wanted to say Hi to Spoonnggeeyyy xxxxx

Haven't seen you for ages hun, hope you're well.

I was offered a free ticket to see Robbie at  somewhere a few years back - might have been Milton Keynes - but didn't fancy it.

He has the kind of personality that makes me itch to slap him, I can well believe that he acted like the great 'I am' on stage.

They were wrong to take him back imo, he always thought he was better than the rest of them
