So i went to bed last night picking my phone up on the way, checked the time on it as i got into bed and placed in on bedside table as usual. Baby woke me up so i picked phone up to see what time it was and it wouldnt come on! (found out it was 5am! btw) i've since tried charging it etc and nothing!

It's a vodafone 547 sweet, i think it may need a new battery, well im hoping thats all it is
is the battery in right? It didn't get knocked out when you put it on the bedside table? Have you tried taking the battery out and putting it back in? I don't know why I suggested that but it's worth ago
Yeah tried all that temps thanx, think i need to take it to a repair shop
My mums landline has been broken - she has been forced to use her mobile (very relunctantly and with little success) She kept going on about Newark calling ..........she meant network - she rung me and panicked because it said finding Sue and Mick - she thought she had inadvertently texted Sue find Mick (she's never sent a text in her life ) To top it all she told me that the battery was dead and she was going down to the Newsagents to bet a pack of batteries from Ed!
Thank goodness her landline is now fixed!
It's the pixies wot done it

I replied : these things happen, as the same happened to my blackberry, woke up and it had conked out.
Later i had been told it was water damaged, even though it had not been near any water (submerged as such that i knew off) apparently the shop says it can be water damaged just from taking it into the bathroom.. too much moisture in the air, or a single droplet of water

that happens a lot with Iphones - and leads to the limited warranty being null and void
