This pic is one of my faves, clear sky in New York with the Staten Island Ferry in the foreground.

It's always bleedin' cloudy in this country when something like this happens.

Sometimes it feels to me as if it's always bleedin' cloudy PERIOD.

Erm, I think there'll be  a Lunar eclipse Visible in the UK sooner than 2041 Katty.

I also think there's a partial Solar eclipse on 1/7/11 - around 8:30.

25th April 2013 there's an umbral luar eclipse that will (supposedly) be seen by Seattle. you're apparently due to see the partial solar eclipse on 1st July 2011 too.

Next total lunar eclipse, both for UK and Seattle would appear to be on 28th September 2015....though there are a few partial and umbral ones between now and then.

Well, I'll keep an eye out for that July 1st one, but I'm gonna have to put the other one on my calendar.

On further investigation I think the Partial Solar Eclipse will be so partial as to be barely noticed.

Especially if cloudy like usual?
