Sophie's last words,
"Such a fine, sunny day, and I have to go, but what does my death matter, if through us thousands of people are awakened and stirred to action?"
I wud love to chat to ALAN CLARK - maverick Tory MP
When he was Defence Minister he was asked about arms sales.
He sed he had no concern about wot other countries did with the weapons sold to them by the UK

Martin Luther King and Winston Churchill. I'd just let them talk - and I'd listen.
So many. If they told the truth. Diana, Elvis, Marilyn to name some just off the top of my head.
Martin Luther King would be great to listen to Yogi. So many more i've just thought of. Never ending list.
Mostly i would bring my Grandmother back, for so many reasons i would like to listen to her.

LOL...OK..... well James Stewart is the easy one, cos I just want to find out if he was as lovely a man as he always seemed...... Elizabeth the First because I love the Tudor period of history, and I would like to ask her how accurate our interpretations of the period are..... and Abraham Lincoln cos I find the Civil War period fascinating, and again I would like to know the truth behind the decisions that were made...... and now my brain aches Renton
BAZ - aint it odd wot we find interesting
I agree - James Stewart did seems like a good guy (I hope he was)
Where as, i couldn't give a fig about the other two - ha ha ha !!
Of course I wud have to include Hitler on this one - i wud love to sit down and calmly ask him wot the heck he was thinking about!!
Does it have to be someone famous? I'd want to sit and have a chat with my grandma, and a cup of tea, of course

Preferably famous as it wud make it more generally interesting
Unless . . . you tell us wot you wud talk about
That cud be intereting - do you have a reason to want a special chat with your Gran?
JOE i wud want to challenge him and choose the questions

Richard III - I'd ask him if it was him that 'dunnit'
Lee Harvey Oswald - see above (acting alone)
Richard Burton - I'd just ask him to talk about anything - he could read my shopping list if he liked - I'd be happy just to hear that wonderful voice talking to ME!

Do you chat on Digi-Spy at all?
Yes you can call me what you like, Renton (within reason)

(I'd like to talk to your Mother actually!!)
I'd love to have a chat with Robespierre and find out what changed him from a mild mannered lawyer to a killer of hundreds.

Nimu of Avalon - or something?
No, that's not me. I only usually go into the techie-type threads. Not cos I'm a techie person but if I have a question to ask about broadband etc they can usually answer it for me. I've probably got fewer than 50 posts to my name.

I read a book some years ago which exonerated Richard the third from all blame concerning the princes in the tower.
Thomas More/Henry 8th.
The victims of Jack the Ripper
I'd tell Henry VIII it was HIS fault he couldn't father a son.
Then teleport back to 2011, sharpish

No hesitation: my mum, I'd like to ask her thoughts on some of the things that have happened in the years since she passed away. Oh and if there is a Heaven, as she firmly believed and if so what it's like?......But most of all I'd just like to see her again and have a hug
