There was nothing, Just your name. I remember in the early days someone got shirty with me because I had underlines between my names and it was stretching THEIR page. Wasn't stretching mine or anyoneelses.

I think it's just the use of 'wordwrap' type technology.....which has been around for ages. Just that some chose NOT to use it.

Yes, in the reply box it's all one line, but when you post it wraps it round to fit the width of the page, rather than make the page fit the length of the line.

I didn't have an Avi on C4.. the default when you joined was no Avi and you could then add one if you wanted, I looked at them and didn't find any I liked.tho I think I tried one for a short time but ditched it..
Ditty maybe that's why you don't remember what you ahd cos you never added one? I dont recall you having one
Sosad had the mushroom and then then was sotired [later became I love hosue] who also had the mushrooms and it used to confuse me if they were in threads at the same time
There was also an Exclamation mark . .Mathematics had that one and still uses it here I think
