It is my youngest's 21st next month.
I am buying her a Wii Fit ( at her request) but would really like to get her something she can keep - a sort of momento.

She does not like "classic" sort of jewellery - by that I mean things that you might think to buy a girl - ear rings. chains, charm bracelets etc to commemorate her 21st. My elder girl loved all that and was thrilled to receive it.

So anyone got any ideas?

Memories Issy

Book her a weekend away, or tickets to a show or concert that she might like. Then get her a new camera so she can take lots of pictures and have a permanent reminder of her 21st.
Hi Rexi

I got her a theatre trip and dinner for two for Christmas.

But a weekend away might be worth thinking about...

Naming a star after the person, and Then & Now photoframes are a couple of ideas.
Oh a star naming- that sounds different and I think she would like that.

Thanks Yogi.I will also check out the website.

there's quite a lot of stuff on here ..     21st bday gift ideas

I have been looking around at stuff for my daughters 18th...

have decided to get her some bits delivered on the day (her bday is a school day, so she will be away from home)

a balloon bouquet with a small bottle of champers

and

a cheesecake from the English Cheesecake company (she spends hours drooling  over the cakes on their website)

her main pressie is gonna be the iPhone...   so like you I am just looking for a few bits n bobs that are a bit more personal than the technology.

Actually, googling that to check the spelling - which I probably still got wrong - I came across this:

Post-micturition convulsion syndrome, also colloquially known as pee shivers, piss shivers, piss quiver, quiver shivers, the timely twitch, or the shiver shake, is a phenomenon in which one feels a shiver running down the spine following urination.[1] The shiver can produce a brief twitch, which is a form of myoclonus. It should not be confused with micturition syncope, a feeling of faintness following passing urine.

To date, despite years of discussion and theorizing, there is no agreed-on explanation of the phenomenon[2] and no medical research into it. However, it has been mentioned occasionally in columns, and in one Internet poll, where about 83% of males and 58% of females reported experiencing it. By 6 July 2007, more than 24,000 males and more than 1,200 females had responded to the poll on the syndrome.

Fancy, etc.
