No, not ironic, but with a hint of trollery, always amusing at various times.  Like I said, 'no oil painting' but I don't recall any MPs saying men should aspire to be like that, ya know, that Carnelian who posts on that forum!

As for coming up to the fine city of Narwidge, you better bring your mum and dad too because otherwise you're in for a world o' pain!

She won't mind you smoking Marlboros in the office and telling you that dish washers let the little lady put her feet up so she has time to prepare a three course meal for the man in her life when he returns from a hard day at the office!

Or am I confusing fiction with reality?

Blimey?  did I really post that attention seeking trollery?  Apologies for the offence! I must have been several sheets to the wind that night.  Anyway, it was more of a political observation that MPs should keep it shut on such regards.  They are supposed to represent their constituents not name check the actress of the moment in lame attempts to be riding the moment's talking point and lecture people.

If they want to lecture anyone, they should lecture the free lunch public subsidised fatties and drunks in the House of Commons.    Politics - show business for ugly people, indeed!
