I think I had quite an advance sense of humour when i was younger. As I remember laughing so hard, that I couldn't breath, at Spaceballs. I was only about 8 when I saw it.

I just remembered 'Harold and Maude'. Odd but funny.
Brilliant film!

What a brilliant film that was, but I still prefer my favourite: Dr. Strangelove.
It is. Makes me want to watch it again. Last time I saw it was at least 15 years ago. I've also remembered 'La Cage aux Folles'. That made me laugh, but the Hollywood remake with Robin Williams didn't. As well as 'Blazing Saddles' I've loved Mel Brooks' 'High Anxiety' and 'The Producers' always raises a smile. The stage musical of it was a riot too.
Rita sue& bob too

Ah "THe producers"..."Springtime for Hitler and Germaneeeeee!"
Not seen it for years was Gene Wilder in 'Everything You Wanted to Know About Sex But Were Afraid to Ask? .................as I remember that was an incredibly funny film (or set of sketches). I think Woody Allen was in it also.

I loved Gene Wilder and Richard Pryor together, Cags! Stir Crazy was a great movie too.
Arsenic And Old Lace
Bringing Up Baby
Some Like It Hot

Woody Allen directed this before he bacame serious, a completely insane hysterically funny film. He was in some of the sketches, Gene Wilder was in it, so was Burt Reynolds and others.

And Silver Streak
Richard Pryor set himself on fire whilst freebasing. That alone is comedy genius.

I remember that! (dont' tell me how long ago it was)
Not strictly a movie but one of the funniest sketches ever seen on TV.
From Police Squad.........
"Idiocracy" and an old film called "Wacko", possibly two of the funniest films I've seen
Though Idiocracy is also a rather sobering social prophecy too
Ace Ventura Nature calls. This is Spinal Tap.
No one has mentioned spaceballs that was very funny
Planes, Trains and Automobiles - I could watch that on a loop and still LOL.
Ace Ventura Pet Detective
Dumb and Dumber
Airplane!
BASEketball
Team America: World Police
Blazing Saddles
Looking at those choices it seems I like childish, crude, silly humour.
I will check out Hot Rod, Rawky. It was on one of the film channels a while back and I almost ended up watching it. I like Andy Samberg's work with The Lonely Island.
I also love Anchorman, can't believe I forgot that one!

I think this film was quite intelligent..........
Almost every film that has been mentioned is funny. Also loved something about Mary.
Airplane.
Yes! Especially Jonny. "It's a twister, Auntie Em!"
ZOOLANDER!!!!!! It cracked me right up
And I remember when i saw Naked Gun for the first time I was sore from laughing

Aww Spaceballs, I loved that...but then I saw it about a year ago on TV and I thought...what the heck did I find so funny?

Sounds like it's right up my street then
I used to watch the Pink Panther films with my dad when I was a kid, here is a scene that cracks me up every time:
"I needed to think about last night. So I galloped into a wooded glen, and after punch-dancing out my rage and suffering an extremely long and very painful fall, I realised what has to be done"
I loved it Rawky. Great film!
