(Rex was a nobhead)
I didn't like Rex at the beginning but i didn't mind him by the end, i think i was in the minority of liking Lisa, Mario and Luke they just made me laugh
I actually didn't realise how horrendous Alexandra was. I'm getting all riled up watching it back again. Even though I know she gets removed it almost feels like it will never end
It did get quite vicious over Mikey - but then doesn't it anyway over most of the hms?
HI Veggie!
Yes, up to a point, but I really don't remember the sheer volume of vicious and downright libelous comments being quite as bad as in BB9 - not even during the Ais/Nikki nonsense of BB7.
It wasn't just Mikey who got it (I recall some pretty outrageous comments concerning Mo and Darnell), but it was the attacks on him that stood out for me.
Blimey, it's amazing what we forget. I'd forgotten most of the stuff you listed tbh. Seems funny how worked up we all get over these people and then forget why for the most part!
I didn't like Mikey one bit but I too get annoyed at outrageous accusations without any basis in truth. The problem is that if enough people repeat a lie then loads more will say there's no smoke without fire
if any of u dizagree wid me i'll get ma manz 2 sort u out k?........pow pow pow.....

Agree with your last part, although I did find Mario quite marmite. The custard cream dunking was hilarious.
Ironically, I didnt watch BB9, (I moved to USA in 2006) but I did watch a bit of the online footage and remember thinking he wsa a bit of an annoying twat! I just got really annoyed at some of the biggoted crap people were writing before the series even started and the attitude of some people to his presence. I can remember being furious about some of the comments and while any discussion fosters education and understanding, some of the comments stung.
I just googled him and I dont have the same condition as him btw.
HI there! Sorry I got that wrong...
I have to say that I wouldn't defend all of what Mikey came out with - for example, the stand-up routine was a big mistake IMO. I think he often simply didn't appreciate how some things might be perceived. I doubt I could have lived with him, but that goes for most HMs in most years!
Like you though, I got really angry about some of the forum comments. There seemed to be a real lack of ability (or perhaps willingness?) to try and understand differences in some quarters...
