Heather Watson has just won her match against Stephanie Foretz Gacon 7:6, 6:1. She is the first British woman in 17 years to win a match at the French Open.

Heather Watson had her 19th birthday last week, and this is the first Grand Slam event she has qualified for. She is currently ranked 117th, but this success could put her into the top 100.
