I remember when you told us about this situation over on C4 Pirate. You are one special person taking on not one but two children, who must be grown up now. I have often wondered how things were going with you and the family, but until you mentioned it I didn't want to bring it up. Hope you and the Mrs will be ok, and I too know nothing of what you are going through, but like others here, have a hug and go cuddle the Mrs.

Sezit

sometimes I get right fed up with the usual ups & downs of family life...    I think to myself "bloody hell...  there is always something..."   I have an 18yr old & a 13 yr old.    they don't have aspergers or autism or anything...      and reading your post Pirate makes me realise that I have it Easy Street, and I should be bloody grateful for what I have.

So...   no more stressing about the (what I now realise to be) little things in life for me...

his mom had to loan him her laptop

he gets money because he's on DLA-his mom monitors it

he has a certain amount to spend

the family are quite well off and he has a savings account

nothing to do with me-ive never asked

i just keep out of it now

money is spent/given to him like its water

same with the younger bro

ive said their making a rod for their own backs

but im ignored

Pirate, I've just read your reply, and I hate the thought that you have no say, if you live with your partner and her children, then you surely have a right to have your say.  I've been there, I've done that (not with autistic or aspergers kids), but regardless it's your house too.  Everyone that lives there needs to be considered.
