What are your favourite sing-a-long songs?
Which do you find infectious and compelled to join in?
There are obviously very many more of your own personal favourites, so please add them.

Skylark. - apologies to you. I deleted the original thread after making an error.
That was a difficult one Brisket.... I chose the first and last songs... but could actually imagine myself singing along to all over them As for the Hippopotamus Song.... well there is a real blast from the past
I chose several, including YMCA. I always get up and dance to it, too
When you're singing Delilah......
After "Why, Why, Why, Delilah".....do you always sing along with the trumpets - "diddle-iddle-iddle-iddle-ee"?

Yes.
And strangely I find myself swaying my head and shoulders from side to side.....with an upward face (often with eyes closed) whilst singing (no yelling) Delilah......strange I know, but true.....I just did it.......
I love moon river because it reminds me of Tom Sawyer and Huckleberry Finn.

So do I.
The popularity of Delilah does not surprise me.
In a group situation most people find it irresistable.
What about
The Timewarp
Summer Lovin' - John Travolta and Olivia Newton John
That one that goes, hey baby, oh ah... I want to know... will you be my girl
The way to Amarillo (I hate that song, incidentally)
Proclaimers - I would walk 100 miles [or whatever it's called]
Mull of Kintyre - Wings
We are the champions - Queen (I hate that band)
Rocking All Over the World - Status Quo
All you need is Love - The Beatles
Come On Eileen - Dexy's
B52s - Love Shack (I hate that song also)
For top cheesy coatings
True - Spandau Ballet
Red Red Wine - UB40
BTW, I voted for YMCA for no obvious reason, it's just a good party record when I feel like acting a bit camp. I don't know "The Hippopotamus Song"
Carnelian - thanks for the list.
They are certainly sing-a-long type songs.
