I had to send back a  t-shirt my husband bought recently...I'd washed it once and it really shrank even though it was washed at 30...when i phoned them (jacamo) they just said 'oh thats no good! ok..we'll send a courier to pick it up' I replaced it with another shirt (a different make that i know doesn't shrink cos he has some of them and they're fine) which they send out and arrived the next day and they also cancelled the delivery ocsts on the original order.

I was very impressed with their service.

this seems to be a common problem - ordered coke with SOME ice and what arrived? ice with a little coke! they must have tipped a whole ice cube tray in there

Oh yeah, and I just sent myself back to bed

I  think a few of us need to do that.

I have sent drinks back that have ice with impurities in it.  *ninja nods* 

I think in a decent cocktail bar paying 10 pound a pop I'd definitely send back even a slightly too flaccid mint leaf.   A first for me [ I think - probably not  ]  to have a mate send back a pint of crap lager tonight though.

They were cool..... 

Sent drinks back loads of times.  Food goes back regularly if it's not cooked how I asked for it.  My theory is, if I'm paying for it then I want it to be perfect.

I have never know bar staff not be at the least ok about exchanging your drink if you were not happy.

Some people may just put up with shoddy drinks rather than complain. 

Pints go back on a reg, not by me but everyone i know, I don't have ice in my drinks cos the tap water is crap.

Food goes back if not up to par. But i tend to overlook it if the restaurant is mental busy as I know how annoying it is have a plate sent back and i also knows what happens to said plate .

I'm sure I have bought stuff back but i can't recall what and when or where.

Sent several things back to Amazon, including the Babylon 5 boxed set, which we sent back 3 times. Each time they delivered it, a corner of the box was crushed. The DVDs were ok, but we were spending £70 on the set so we wanted it perfect.

Just sent back a Garden Strimmer via Amazon. Bought it for my son but as he works all day we tried to get it delivered on an evening or a weekend. They refused

So that is the first thing I have ever sent back to Amazon.

I've sent/taken back lots of things over the years but one thing I would never do is eat in a restaurant once I'd sent food back

I'd be too afraid of what the staff would do to the replacement meal

I sent back a full english brekkie once in a cafe....it was missing mushrooms (other than that it looked lush) when it was returned, with the mushrooms, a big, thick, long, black hair was running through the fried egg **gag** needless to say I kicked up a right fuss...landed up getting a £20 voucher!! (it was Sainsburys cafe) Not eaten there since!!

I have just sent his nibbs back to make another cup of tea as his last offering was well below par.

I'm going to have to do that. I just take mine back to the kitchen myself to adjust. 

Recently I sent a glass of wine back because there was lipstick on the glass - the barman cockily suggested it was probably mine! I never wear lipstick 

I would have said, its your colour though.
