half 8 in the am is waaay to early-im not even allowed to fire the vac up until after 7am, OH says it might bother the neighbours-who are as deaf as posts anyway

When they were doing the windows in our street a few weeks ago they were in the houses working away at 8am every morning.  They knocked at my door at 7:50 one morning and said they wanted to get a start but I told them they had no chance of getting into my house til 9am when the kids were at school.  They weren;t too happy but getting kids out to school with 5 workmen in the house and no blinds on the windows wasn't appealing to me!
