Our first retriever used to sulk when we returned from holidays. We would talk to her and she'd turn her head away.

She's usually the same as your retriever Yogi but this time I got something resembling a welcome - only when she got home mind

Hi velvet glad you and Dolly are reunited again the few times Angus and Hamish were in kennels they would sulk for the biggest part of the day but they always came around in the end
