Actually, you may have a point... I spent about 10-15 mins on the phone just now helping someone to set up a VPN and map their drive, towards the end of the conversation he said that he was trying to work out where my accent was from, but not to tell him cos he was still trying to guess

Years ago I had a mate who went to Boston for a week. She came back with the most God awful semi-american/Scottish accent including the upward inflection which lasted for years
