believe me syd i'm not a mobile addict!!..i have a nokia from tescos which i bought about 4 years ago for 10 quid....it has no internet......no camera........its just basic..all i want is to be able to text and make a call and get the same back.........i can't be arsed with anything else.....partly cos i wouldn't have a clue how to do it
Could you live without one?
Nope!
Cos I bloody HATE talking on the phone. So text messaging is the way to communicate for me!
If it rings I rarely answer it. Text me & I will converse all day!
I am exactly like that!!! I hate talking on the phone. I only got my first ever mobile phone in 2005, and since then its become essential. I really resent being tied to it and always being contactable. I only have it incase my daughters school phones or some other type of necessity, Ive started leaving it at home if shes with me. I have also started turning it on silent when im in at night.
phones...pah!!!

I like a pretty phone.. and I get a new one when I'm elligible for an upgrade, the latest is in android phone but all the widgets are wasted on me - i can answer a call (once I'd read the instructions.. it took me ages to work out how to.... touch screen with wee slidey button ) and text if I must. I could live without it, of course we all could, but I don't understand why I'd want to when I like the peace of mind it brings. Then again, I never feel the need to be free and uncontactable... because nobody every hassles me anyway... I guess I'm just unpopular. Hey ho...
