I always felt sorry for the Terry Sullivan character, Barry Grant had a lot ot answer to back then.

I believe Brian Regan who played Terry could of been a professional footballer.

Former EastEnders star Billy Murray has reportedly been arrested for common assault.

According to The Sun, the 69-year-old actor was charged with beating his wife and daughter Lizzie "during a boozy late-night family row".

Police apparently arrested Murray after they were called out to his wife Elaine's flat in Chigwell, Essex.

A police rep said: "We can confirm a 69-year-old man from London was arrested in Chigwell in the early hours of April 7. He has been charged with two counts of common assault. He will appear at Chelmsford Magistrates Court on May 6."

Murray's spokesperson was "unavailable for comment", while Elaine has said that she does not want to discuss the incident.

Murray appeared in EastEnders as gangster Johnny Allen between 2005 and 2006. He also famously played Don Beach in The Bill between 1989 and 2004.
