Isn't their a second 5 channel - like ch4 had e4  am sure I asked this the other day & someone said about another channel - or was I dreaming it ??

Things get more difficult to remember as one ages

I know CSI is on one Fiver ..

Don't like ninja films

There's Fiver and FiveUSA, FiveUSA only shows US programs.  I think Fiver is the second channel and similar to e4 but doesn't seem to have a distinctive special identity, like e4 has.  I hope they don't put it on Fiver as that channel drops off my Freeview reception from around Early May to late October.

I really can't see plummy Joanna Lumley wanting to do BB or the program's audience taking to her in that role.  Mylene Klass would be ok, but I still can't see her doing it and Martine McCutchen's boring.

BIG Brother is set to make a dramatic return to TV this summer in an exclusive multimillion pound deal with Channel 5.

And to the delight of the show’s millions of fans, it returns with a sexed-up, “rock and roll” house where stars will be encouraged to party like never before.

Channel 5 will host the celebrity version of the show’s highly-anticipated return to British TV screens first.

I can't either. At best, this sounds like pure "wish list"...

Daily Express readers are going to love their paper covering BB extensively about as much as they'd love Gordon Brown coming to their house, calling them bigots and offering to sell their gold.

Oh, looks like another Freeview retune is in order

I retuned my Freeview box recently: I didn't even know I could get 5* until I checked just now!

As far as BB is concerned: I would imagine that 5USA's a non-starter (barring a major re-orginization).

5* is a possible, but unlike E4 it's doesn't broadcast 24/7. (I don't know the rules here, i.e. is 5* restricted to broadcasting 9am till midnight, or can Desmond apply to extend it? )

The last series of Big Brother aired in summer 2010 on Channel 4 and was a ratings hit, with many viewers lamenting its loss from their screens. In just one year since the show disappeared, almost 60,000 fans joined a campaign to Bring Back Big Brother on social networking site Facebook.

No, neither do I, those minor Freeview channels are forever going into partnerships and chopping and changing their broadcast times.  Just checked the Five* site and they list for Teleshopping, so I guess they own those times and lease those hours (or it's a Desmond business concern), so my guess is they could easily extend their broadcast hours.   Only an assumption, though!

TBH, I don't know why C4 ever bothered with through the night coverage.  Mostly pointless after 3:00am.
