I found on Wiki there's a law in the UK on this:

Racial and Religious Hatred Act 2006

And in the “religious hatred” means hatred against a group of persons defined by reference to religious belief or lack of religious belief.  So I think you are safe in using that in your essay.

There is a word "religism" in use, but I'm not sure that's a real word.

Yup, even though there are many Semite tribes in the Middle-East (from Shem, one of Noah's sons) the current usage for the term Antisemitism is used exclusively towards hatred of Jews.
