The thing is - there aren't that many black boards around these days - it's all whiteboard technology ........................bloody amazing IMO (For an ole girl like me).
So much better. I'm old enough to have started off with a small blackboard in my satchell,having to use it every day. Nightmare.

When I started school we all had our own slate and a little drawstring bag of chalk and rubber. My kids find that hilarious but it's true!

oh B has that, makes him shudder if anyone bites the cutlery. I don't realise I'm doing it so he has to keep telling me - not that I do it all the time, there are occasional tooth slips
