The Katie lass is pretty and TBH you can't see she is particularly 'disfigured' til you get close up, then it's burnt skin, and she looks pretty OK.  The girl with the nose issue I felt really sorry for, and the nose didn't look much better after   As for her and her husband: it seemed to me like she didn't really want to be with him anymore.  She was saying she was feeling a bit trapped... i wonder why?    It's almost as if she married him because she felt he was the best she could get as she was disfigured and now that she sees a light at the end of the tunnel and was going to get rid of the nose problem, she wanted to 'travel' and seemingly not with him.

ļ»æi rememer the original  programme with katie  in it' my beautiful face' and she  was truly beautiful in asthetic sense.

how she looks now cup cake is a pretty huge disfigurment of how she looked before.

the operations and procedures she went thru  to  increase function of her eyes and nose and breathing were pretty horific.

agree about the  girl with the  disfigured nose  ,  and i wonder why  as non disfigured ppl, of which i am one'  that  we/i feel compelled to  either stare or at best give those with a facial disfigurement  such a hard time,.

I agree Jackson.  Why people stare and point just baffles me.  Obviously you will give a quick 'glance' .. that is understandable (and that is all I do,) but why gawp and point etc??? .  People who stare/point/laugh/mock etc, are incredibly insensitive and stupid IMO, and probably have a low intellect and no self awareness or empathy.

Gypsie.... I think Katie was angry at the man for doing that to her, and so she should be... but what maddens her now, is that the cheeky twat is continuously trying to get out of jail, coz he felt his sentence was too severe!

It's truly shocking ....................as Gyps said we do have lots in life to be thankful for (I've just spoken to an old friend tonight who I've not seen in years - she's terminally ill with cancer).

The thing is .............and I'm almost afraid to say it - I find programmes like that really hard to watch ..............I avoid them TBH. I just find it incredibly upsetting.

I know what you mean, but I find it incredibly uplifting to think that these people can pull themselves up from....(can't find the right word)....and still be positive....there but the grace of God go us....

Rather watch this and weep, than Katie Price (and ilk) and
