I like her. I think 'Someone Like You' is a nicely crafted song and any time I've heard her sing it - always live - she delivers.

Yes, Bob Dylan wrote it...but I don't like his version at all, never did.  I always thought Adele's one had a bit more emotion to it.

I always liked Adele, up until they started playing some one like you a million times an hour on the radio.  Thought it was a lovely song, but it's too loud for it to be played so often.  She was fantastic on the Brits, but I think they should go back to playing the recorded version...it doesn't sound so harsh

I think she is OK, but rather over-rated.  Thing is, there is so little talent in the charts these days, that someone with a fairly normal singing talent and who can hold a note, is regarded as 'amazing' and gifted and talented.  She is OK but is not as good as she is made out to be IMO.  Even people I have spoken to of the 13 to 23 age group, think that music in the charts is shit, and most 'commercial' stuff is rubbish.  Most young people I know listen to 80s music and old and new rock....  I mean when Lady Gaga is the best thing to hit the charts for a decade and Justin Beiber is the hottest thing around, there is something wrong.   

And don't even get me started on Rihanna: she is vile: her 'singing' is diabolical and she is so slutty and trashy that the sight of her makes me squirm.  It's a sad and sorry state of affairs when a girl has to dress like a hooker and sing about sex, to get herself noticed.    And I am not even going to waste time typing ANYthing about Cheryl 'Chav-til-I-die' Cole...

Also I am sick of being force fed these shitty little average girl singers and being told they are the new 'in thing' and the latest amazing talent, like Rumer (YAWN) Jessie Jay (ZZZZZZ) and (Eliza Doolittle, (bbboooorrrring and not famous because her nan is Sylvia Young at ALL.)  Ellie Goulding and Adele are the only decent girl singers out there IMO and they are just 'good.'  No more.
