Imagine all the washing and drying How does she have time?
@Blizze. Nor does he so he'll change them.
She gets up in the morning, stripes the bed puts them on to wash, goes home for lunch puts them in the drier and then when she gets in from work re-dresses the bed. like I'd be bothered to do that day in day out.

Changing your bed linen once a day is obsessive IMO. That is far too often, and imagine all the time, washing powder and electricity and water you'd use? Have to admit, I have neither time or inclination to change my family's bed linen daily. Once every 2 weeks it's changed in our house, on the 1st and the 15th of the month. That is often enough IMO... each to their own though eh? About half so far, change the linen around every 1.5 to 3 weeks: but who changes it less than three times a year?! As I said, each to their own.

I agree Eve I care a lot for the environment too, so using all this water and electricity and detergent and so on when it's not necessary would not sit well with me.And of course all the energy wasted.

Every week. I tend to change them when i do a big tidy up on a turs or fri. They are all white and sods law that the very night i change them i spill tea / coffee/ red wine / cocopops on them so spend the whole week saying...hmmmm need to change that.*sigh*
I change the bedding once a week.
If someone would do it for me (the washing, drying and changing) I'd have fresh ones everyday. I love getting into bed when it's nice new clean bedding. I don't have anyone like that though so it's once a week on a Sunday

Me too, Cags... I feel like a dirty mare now though cos I only do mine once a fortnight. Does it make it better that I'm only in them about five and a half hours a night?
Usually every 7-8 days. I pull the duvet down every morning to air the bed as well cos someone told me that if you've slept in it all night that the heat will attract them mite things if you just plonk the duvet back on so it's something I've done automatically for years. I've recently got a laaavely new Kingsize bed (not a sleigh one though - it's a divan but it makes me feel tall when I'm lying down cos I'm short but I have got a black steel rather swish headboard)
Can't beat fresh bed sheets though, Egyptian cotton and a goosedown. Gawwwwj

I actually shower every single day and some days twice... if I have been to work, and/or have had a physical day, then I will shower in the morning as I always do as soon as I get up and then I may shower again at around 3 or 4pm. It literally takes 3 minutes and is quicker than washing yourself... However, my friend who lives next door, says she sees no reason to shower more than 3 times a week. I really could not go out without showering as I like to feel really clean.... Like I said, it's a personal choice. Maybe mine don't need changing more than once every 10 to 14 days because both myself and my other half shower once a day (and some days twice...) so that is why the linen stays clean longer.

3 times a week for showering?! Well, yes, each to their own, but in the back of my mind I've always got that 'what if you have to go to hospital? clean pits, clean ears and clean knickers' thing in my head. (The chances of getting run over are somewhat decreased when in my own home but still you never know). Plus I don't understand how people can not only feel mingy but also other people will smell you before you smell yourself so if they want to hum then that's up to them

Every other week when I'm single (like, who's gonna notice?), once a week when I'm not. Duvet gets aired every day, so it never gets minging. I love getting into fresh sheets after a bath with nice shaved legs and all, it's bloody lovely.

I feel let down
Unless you are very sweaty I would say once every 2-3 weeks is fine in winter, maybe once every week and a half in summer. After all, its your bed - not like you are inviting strangers in (I hope)
