15 signs it's time to quite facebook:

http://tech.uk.msn.com/feature...documentid=153612340

How many of these are you guilty' of?    Be honest   Sorry about the big writing: it's how it came out when I copied and pasted it all..  I can say hand on heart that I could say no to no more than 2 (the friends birthdays one and checking facebook on the phone,) but I don't do it so much anymore as although I was a bit obsessed for a year or so, the novelty wore off.  So how many are YOU guilty of ...?

You update your status multiple times a day

You get unneccessarily angry when Facebook makes changes

You've ever written a First comment on a friend's status.

You've created a separate account for your baby/cat/favourite plant

You check in... everywhere

You haven't seen your other half recently

You take pictures of yourself to put on the profile.

You check Facebook from your phone on holiday

You speak to your best friend more often on Facebook than in real life.

You'd forget your friends' birthdays if it wasn't for Facebook reminders

You've started 'friend farming'.. continually trying to get 'friends' to accept you.

You've taken out a loan to cover your Farmville/Fish World/Mafia habit

You've ever updated your status while sat on the loo

You've started oversharing- telling people EVERYthing.

When you're out, you're wondering what's happening on Facebook

Well done.    As i said I did used to be more addicted, and it is very addictive.    But I'm not so much anymore.  I do know people who make facebook pages to express their anger at facebook making changes to how it looks.    And i genuinely know a girl who has a facebook for her DOG and has even made a farm for him on farmville...yes really!

I think it's a bit of a worry, if you spend more time talking to friends and family on facebook/the internet than you do in real life... if they live closeby.  I just can't comprehend it.  I like to see my family and pals face to face, and have a coffee and a chat and go for a walk or go up town together.  I don't think it's healthy: emotionally or physically to be on the internet all day and not see people in real life...Maybe  afew people are virtually housebound, but even so, you'd still want to see 'someone' in real life wouldn't you?

Yes that is true.  If you spend more time talking to your r/l friends through FB than you do actually talking to them, then that's sad

buy maybe your FB friends become like you R/L friends .....I'm not big on updating a status, but being the curtain twictcher I am, I like to nose on everyone elses. If FB is there, why not use it. Eveydog has it's day, i'm sure something new & worrying will be along before long, who knows it might even involve getting off the lap top.

awww sometimes maybe they do

It's the photos...you still always feel like you're intruding looking at others photos...but if they didnt' want you to see them they wouldn't put them up, right?

Oh I agree, that it's fine if facebook/internet friends become like Real Life friends, and this is common.... but if they are real life friends to begin with, (and maybe were friends before facebook,) and you spend more time on the internet talking to them - (and your family) - than you do speaking to them in real life, then i think it's a bit of a worry and like I said, not very healthy...not if they live in the same town as you.  Just my opinion of course.... especially as i like to meet up with my friends/family once a week or sometimes more often.

The creator of FB has a page for his dog that people can like but it's not a profile - FB have started to delete the profiles of those of us who have made them for our animals    Animal profiles are against FB Policy but it's ok for children under the age of 18 to have them, bullies and paedophiles   Bitter, moi!  never

my dog has many doggy friends and who does it harm?  He's even friends with Coronation Street's Eccles who had to re-do her profile because the FB police closed her other profile
