Hi Marge, through circumstances I've met and spoken personally to Cliff many times via phone and person to person over the years, so sorry that through one of his tennis tournaments which I know about you had a negative experience, it's really hard to forget an experience like that if negative so I understand. I can only try to assure you that Cliff has the very best intentions when it comes to his charitable donations of which he donates tens of thousands each year through his charity Tear Fund
Not a fan of Cliff but at least he does loads for charity and is not a celeb that is in yer your face every week. He is a down to earth celeb, which i would wish the other "celebs" would follow. -Low profile and do what you can to help others incognito.

Gary Sanford from the Joe Jackson band used to teach Growly Jnr the guitar. We knew him quite well, and he is a really nice man.

I am hugely impressed. He was an amazing guitarist. Joe Jackson had the best bass player in the world too (was it Graham Maby?). I fully expect Growly Jnr to take the world by storm keep us updated on his progress

Wow, in every instance there he was the talented one. Incredibly talented guy who never really got the recognition he deserved.
Yeah, he's the only person I've met and literally been struck dumb. He was really nice though - funny and friendly

His daughter was in Jnr's class and we used to talk in the school playground in the afternoon.  I always thought he looked familiar but I didn't realise who he was for ages.

I must stress, this is not a seedy styleee meeting, although I have been referred to as a groupie  .... 10 members of his forum got together for a gig about 8 years ago, it's become an annual occurence.  One of the group acts as unofficial roadie and the other ran his website for a while so we usually end going for a drink with him after the show.

I met Russsell after one of his show in 07 at the Hackney Empire, They filmed the show that night for a DVD. He had queues going round the block to meet him, yet posed and signed away for well over an hour. V funny, The ladies loved it, Matt Morgan was there also, Since then it's all gone to the 02.

Ah now.. that I DID know..... I'm almost over hating Mrs RZB now....      He was going around the foyer tapping nubile young blondes on the shoulder when I was there and his minder was giving them passes for the bar....   This was, of course, all pre Katy and wedded bliss.

Awww... I'm glad to hear that, Kaytee.   I always thought he was a lovely guy, and I'm glad I'm not having my illusions shattered.

*thinks about the coat and decides against fessing up about the annual meetings with cheesy 70's pop singer*
