Anyone surprised by the 100/1 National winner this year?

yes, i didn't bet on that one
I did not either but felt he was better than a 100/1 chance. Tenth in the National last year, 9th in the Scottish National a few weeks later and 8th in the Welsh National last December when sent off 9/2 favourite. I guess I was looking for him to finsih 7th!

Very well done, the Tote that day paid about ÂĢ159 for the winner. When 100/1 Foinavon won in 1967 the Tote paid 444/1.
