Tapestry has so many, many memories for me ........a brilliant album! There's just such a rawness and a genuine feel when they both sing. Comes straight from the gut.
Dammit... just saw this with 8 minutes to go. I love them both.

You've Got a Friend - life was so much simpler then.

Aww I wish I'd watched it as I like them both but especially James Taylor. I've seen him in Concert, watched musical vids filmed at his home and have some CD's. He's a briliant songwriter and as a person comes across as so calm and gentle. One of my faves is this and when one of the backing singers takes over the vocal about half way through I get tingles every time, love him.
Soozy you've given me a light bulb moment. I've never thought about music to be played at my funeral. Having just listened to James Taylor...again lol..... I had the thought that what better positive message to leave for those that will/might miss me when I'm not here as his message is something I've always felt strongly about.

It's lovely, sparkles. We listened to it, when we first met, and were both moaning about being dumped by our exes!
And, she must be nearly seventy now, but her voice is just as beautiful as it was back in the day!

Carole reminds me a bit of Jennifer Grey, how she looked in dirty dancing...

ttfn for now guys. hubby need the internet off for some security check thingy.
Me too. Harry Chapin is my all time favourite. So sad he died young.
Saw this programme when it was shown previously.
I have so much to thank BBC4 for. They come up with some smashing programmes.
This was excellent.
James Taylor is so humble, shy really. No histrionics. The music is his priority.

Multiples? huh?
What are they?
I'm so sorry, but I don't like either of them. Let's not revive the thing about who might be the vain one. Yawn, yawn. Shite.
