Actually, it's not only shops. I work on reception (amongst other things) for a training company and the abuse we have to put up with at times is shocking while holding our tongues

In all honesty - I have no problem with customers face to face - will always do my best for them - on the phone however - have just quit a job working for a high profile company in their call centre & have to say folk are damn right bloody rude when on the phone !
