It's the hair, I'm afraid.
I do realise it is a matter of personal taste and that very many will not agree with me.
But when I first saw her I did not like the long, aimless, floppy hair, which hid a good part of the face (I don't like the face to be hidden by hair.)
But I saw her with Prince Andrew this week launching a RNLI lifeboat in Wales.
I think she had a feathery hair piece on top, but because of the windy conditions she had her hair upwards and backwards - and I liked it.
I think she looks hangdog when it flops around her face, but I think she looks very attractive with hair up and face exposed.

*lets hair swoosh over face*

Brisket...   its not without effort having your hair over your face...  the urge to clip it all back gets overwhelming at times...

I was washing the car yesterday... and there was a breeze...   at one point I was blinded by my hair totally over my face...

I felt like a yeti!

its fine when I am indoors and am able to run my fingers back through it to allow me to see..   for a few mins..  then repeat!

edit - used the wrong 'there'

that is how I looked washing the car Blizzie

Brisket... up until about 6 weeks ago my hair was very long...  and all I ever did was wear it tied back or up.     I was fed up with it so I went to the hairdressers and told her to cut it so short at the back that I would not be able to tie it back.

I do love it...    but it has its drawbacks.

I am fed up with eating my own hair at dinner time

I keep my hair long and over my face all the time. .tis so I don't scare the kiddies tho. . [or sensitive adults for that matter ]

I scrape it back and shove it on top of my head when am inside on me own and no one can see me.. especially in the summer cos it gets too hot. .and I hate too short and or pulled back hair. .looks too harsh on most people over a certain age. .you need the softening effect of the whispy bits.. ..

I can see I am rapidly becoming out-numbered here.   I will accept with good grace.

You see, I think she looks much more attractive in the bottom 2 pictures.

Can I ask about wisps?
Are they intentional? Are they glamorous? Or have they simply forgotten to cut them off?

I do, though, remember having a Yorkshire Terrier who had a way with wisps.

The "wisps" are totally intentional!    they are the sexy bits!    Without them pulled out the updo would look really really harsh..    sort of older strict school marmish..   pulled back tightly into a bun style!

And they would never cut them off..     (well, you should never cut them off..   I may have had a hack at the odd wisp to get it to the length required, and then regretted it the next day when you see you have odd short bits of hair sticking out of your head )

I don't like her "wisps" in the picture on the left..    the centre parting wisps...   I do like the black & white photo wisps though.

it takes a lot of styling to get an updo to look that "thrown together"

hahahaha...

If she is wearing it down I would advise her to not try sticking a chupa chup  lolly back in her mouth...

results in sticky hair & a hairy lolly!

She's a pretty girl, but I'm getting to the point of thinking that she is now behaving like poor old Diana did. I had high hopes for these two just to be a normal couple. Let's face it, one way or another it's going to be a couple of decades before they can even begin to think about being the bosses. It's all a pile of rubbish. Can't they just get married in a registry office and carry on with their jobs, please.
