There was the other case in the US where the daughter was returned to her parents 16 years later, too.

The saddest thing is someone knows what happened to her, how they can keep quiet for all this time is beyond me. Evil bastard.

This is what made me mad when the case firt opened Karma. How could they leave young children on their own even if they were only a few hundred yards away? The guilt of this will surely rest with them.

I'm sure it will, and it does. I remember on C4 the amount of rows over this when it happened, people saying myself and a few others were bang out of order for not seeing past the circumstances. I just couldn't comprehend how a mother, let alone a mother and a father, thought it was perfectly ok to leave their young child and baby twins alone in a hotel room while they were knocking back the vino at a restaurant with friends. In a foreign country as well? There are people out there who miscarry or can't have children and to hear of something like this is a piss take.

Seeing Kate and Gerry McCann on the tele leaves me cold. The only people I feel any sympathy for is Maddy and her siblings, tbh.

I still have my own suspicions on this Karma.

Have to agree Karma, also if they'd been working class or worse still a single mum leaving those kids  there'd have been uproar.

Thats the one spongey..I totally agree, blame does'nt work even though in my heart I think what stupid stupid people....I also read an interview of a woman who's son went missing when he was very young..she was on the sidewalk when a man walked up to her and told her not to look at him, he told her things only her son would know to prove he was her son, he also told her he just wanted to let her know he was alive but she must never speak of it as the people who took him were very powerful..maybe they were powerful or maybe they had brainwashed him but whatever it was scared him enough to fear for her life....

I always hoped she had been taken by someone who wanted a child. But I know if that had been the case they would probably have taken one of the younger children.
The McCanns have to live with what they did that day. But like someone else said had they been working class, council house parents they would have been punished.
