Me too I'm surprised Loch Lomond didn't make it onto the list. Much better than Alton Towers IMO

And thanks to Wikipedia we know:
The Hebrides Overture also known as Fingal's Cave, is an overture composed by Felix Mendelssohn. It was inspired by a cavern known as Fingal's Cave on Staffa, an island in the Hebrides. The piece was written in 1830 and dedicated to King Frederick William IV of Prussia.
The music, though labelled as an overture is actually a complete work. It depicts a mood and "sets a scene". It consists of two primary themes; the opening notes of the overture describe his visit to the cave, and is played initially by the violas, cellos, and bassoons. The second theme depicts movement at sea and the rolling waves.

I agree cagney, loch lomond is beautiful especially the east side i think.
And yes, ducky...i was really crapping myself, sweaty palms the lot, especially when people were trying to get past coming the other way. *sweats a bit remembering* I hate heights.

It's ok, I do that too... I found a lovely cupcake shop in Covent Garden a couple of weeks ago St.Paul's and The Tate's a good day out (they're near each other).
