Here's an article I found:
Channel 4 has reportedly axed its latest reality show Famous and Fearless after just one series.
The Chris Evans-fronted live show had been tipped to serve as a long-running replacement for Big Brother. However, poor reviews saw ratings halved during its week-long run last month, The Sun reports.
The series, eventually won by Charley Boorman, featured eight celebrities including Rufus Hound and Dame Kelly Holmes competing in various stunts including a demolition derby and power skateboarding.
"It was an innovative idea," a source said. "But it just didn't work as well as we had hoped. It was a tough act following Celebrity Big Brother and it needed to pull in bigger ratings than it did."
However, the channel is said to be exploring more opportunities to work with Evans again.
"They were really happy having Evans back and want to do more with him in future," the source added. "They are looking at new projects with him now."
I wonder if Channel 4 are possibly kicking themselves right now? Sure Big Brother may have attracted some unwanted attention but at least it still got them viewing figures.
