Here's an article I found:

Channel 4 has reportedly axed its latest reality show Famous and Fearless after just one series.

The Chris Evans-fronted live show had been tipped to serve as a long-running replacement for Big Brother. However, poor reviews saw ratings halved during its week-long run last month, The Sun reports.

The series, eventually won by Charley Boorman, featured eight celebrities including Rufus Hound and Dame Kelly Holmes competing in various stunts including a demolition derby and power skateboarding.

"It was an innovative idea," a source said. "But it just didn't work as well as we had hoped. It was a tough act following Celebrity Big Brother and it needed to pull in bigger ratings than it did."

However, the channel is said to be exploring more opportunities to work with Evans again.

"They were really happy having Evans back and want to do more with him in future," the source added. "They are looking at new projects with him now."

I wonder if Channel 4 are possibly kicking themselves right now? Sure Big Brother may have attracted some unwanted attention but at least it still got them viewing figures.

Glad this garbage has been binned!    Have to say re; Wossy, he is funny and talented, but has spells of behaving like a massive twat.  On the BAFTAs however,he came across as really charming and funny and likeable.  Same with James Cordon; I used to like him (specially round the time of fat friends) and then I went off him good 'n' proper.  This past year or two I have thought he is an arrogant little shit who believed his own hype and reached for the off switch every time he came on tv.  Then since that attack by Captain Picard last year, and peoples bad reactions to him hosting the Brits, (1000s tweeted saying they 'won't watch it with that prick hosting it!') James seems to have calmed down and reverted back to his likeable old self, and on the Brits, I actually enjoyed watching him...  So I like Wossy AND Cordon at the mo.

But Chris bloody bloody Evans, gets right up my snoz!  I actually think he IS talented and capable of being funny, and when he used to DJ and do the breakfast show and TFI friday and so on, I liked him.  BUT every time I see him interviewed now, ALL he ever ever does is talk about money and how much he has, how rich he is and how much he spends on things....and it's always more than anyone else.  MONEY MONEY MONEY is his favourite thing to talk about!  But he only wants to talk about himself and HIS money !!    Don't you DARE try and talk about yourself and anything you have got/bought/done/achieved.!!

He was interviewed some half a dozen times last year, and was on the one show, and I think loose women, and he was sooo preoccupied with his material wealth and the fact he spent 20 million on a yacht once, and 2 million on a car, (which blew up so he went out and bought another one with CASH blah blah blah)   And during the one show interview he talked about HIS money, earnings, wealth etc etc etc constantly.  And he once lost 25 million pounds on a bad investment, but it was just 'pocket change' he sneered.  I detest people who have to drone on about how rich they are, because I couldn't give a shit.  It doesn't make them a better person because they have money.  It just makes them a wanker for blathering on about it.    If anyone I speak to starts to talk about how much they earn, how much their car cost, how much their outfit cost, how much better they are than poor people, I just switch off and make my excuses to leave.  People obsessed with material wealth and who think they are something special because they spend more/have more money just leave me cold.
