You got any?

Doc on Regan just started and one talking head (McCain?) reckoned one of his chief virtues were he came with said "unshakeable principles".

That old cove Voltaire said, "Doubt is not a pleasant condition but certainty is an absurd one", or words to that effect.

Thoughts?  You fairly single minded and unmoving or do your thoughts evolve and morph hither and thither?

I don't think it's healthy to never consider your beliefs now and then.  Learning to accept shades of grey is good too, I find people who think in black and white constantly make me want to wring their necks.  They are liking walking talking Daily Expresses.

Then again, there are some things I'll probably never be shifted on, but you still have to have a think about it now then, if only to reaffirm your position.

My favourite (only!) bit of getting older is seeing much more grey now (not just in my hair) on most things...not all though, I've a hard time finding excuses for bigotry.

My core values have remained all my life, but I do find that the older I get the more I can contemplate other views even if I don't agree with them. There is no real certainty of anything, we are all fishing around and clinging onto whatever we might believe or hope for. I tell you what though, if I'm wrong with my atheist's views, I shall come and haunt this forum just so you all know there's a life after death.
