Tomatoes warm with a little olive oil and balsamic are epic on toast.

Plum tomatoes... a teeny bit of salt and pepper, so you can savour just the tomaotoes... a simple classic dish. Mmmmm.  I still maintain toast is an abberation though

That's the best thing, the toast soaks up all the juice like a big bready sponge, and falls to bits.  You don't even have to chew hardly

Nah..Fracas... I'd go for fresh buttered white bread... umm...mmm...hum. NO TOAST!

Oh yes, that would do the job nicely, it's still a bread sponge.  A bit like a lovely tomato trifle

I love tomatos too, with toast, with sausages or with hash browns! OR with all three on a fry up!
