I forgot to mention my perfect day.

My teenage son grunting and winding up my husband, and then bringing home three drunken friends who need somewhere to sleep. My eldest daughter moaning about her Psychology finals and coming home just to mess up the kitchen, by cooking food she doesn't even want to eat. My other daughter cleaning the Guinea pigs out in fifteen different stages and strumming her guitar, while moaning about her GCSE options. My youngest son insisting that Kantian philosophy is far superior to Utilitarianism, while finding any excuse not to do his homework.

Thankfully, I'm a perfect parent and enjoy it all!

Most recently, yesterday!  I had been in Washington DC visiting friends, while my husband was in Canada visiting his friends, we met back up at Toronto airport.  The look on his face as he ran towards me at the airport was just amazing!  *smiles to self thinking about it* Then we went off to a hotel until we had to check in for our flight back to the UK.

Perfect day,!!! Not seeing your husband for 10 days and being greeted that way.  I know I'll smile for months thinking about it.
