He did the Bond themes too, won loads of awards. Talented fella.

Yep...left a fine legacy.

I see in one of the obituaries of John Barry that although he had, to some degree,  lived an international life-style, and lived in New York, he had not lost the tinge of a Yorkshire accent in his voice.
His music is very evocative.
He could do Juke Box Jury and Born Free with equal aplomb.

His music sort of defined my youth.... R.I.P.
