You're right Pirate, Karen had the vocal quality that will never be heard again, so unique. I loved the Carpenters music, Richard as well as Karen was very talented. We saw them in Concert at Hammersmith Odeon and also Las Vegas, wonderful experiences I'll treasure. When she died I cried for hours, such a sad loss to her family but also to those of us who received so much pleasure from her voice and their music.

Yes I did like them and Karen has/had a lovely voice.  So sad that she died young, especially from such a tragic condition.
