Camera phones are a great invention, but it's kind of encouraged us to take a picture of everything no matter how distasteful and post it online.
There were video clips on the news the other night of the aftermath of a suicide bombing and people receiving emergency care. One person was being pumped in the chest whilst this onlooker videoed it and it was then shown on the main evening news for the world to see.
Just now I clicked into yahoo and there's a photo of a woman who fell 23 storeys and landed on a cab (don't go searching till I've finished me point ) on the internet, again for the world to see.
I hate to go all Carrie Bradshaw, but have we really forgotten the boundaries of privacy? Is it not a bit distasteful to take pictures of people at their worst/lowest and post them for all to see? (drunken photos on a saturday night do not count )
