Anyone watching?

Steven Tyler seems a great addition to the panel and JLo is doing alright so far. I like American Idol coz of the sheer talent they find there. And of course the mentalists

I LURRRRVVVE American Idol. Some of the people that audition are fanbloodytastic. 100000 times better than X Factor for base talent. Some of the people they say no to would win the UK one!

Missing Simon and Kara, although I enjoyed it tonight I'm hoping they calm down a bit and be a bit more objective with their critique. That's the reason I've always preferred the American one, cos they were more about the raw ingredients and they didn't have time for the Jedwards and Wagners.

Or in other words, they haven't got time for what makes 'good tv', it's all about the voice and the presence.

I'm watching on +1 so still got loads to go but yep, it's all about the talent not the spin. I'm strangely finding Tyler a bit attractive and I know it's wrong but I can't help it. I like his cheeky side.
