I saw 127 hours.  Good movie, but I felt somewhat shortchanged at the end.  I don't want to spoil it for anyone, so won't say much, but I felt that they could have focussed on what happened when he got out of the hole.  Basically, he gets out, the paramedics come, and it ends.  It could've done with being about 20 minutes longer, with an extra chapter on how he was reunited with his parents/family/friends.  However, 7 out of 10.. worth watching..

I'm not a big film fan really. I did enjoy Pulp Fiction, Snatch, Other peoples lives, The Reader, Cabaret. Off the top of my head. My son handed me an Inception DVD this week and suggested that we might enjoy it. We did.

I watched two good pirate copies about two weeks ago "Megamind"  it was okay,quite funny and "Tangled" it was ok in parts but a bit boring.I never go to the cinema,last film I saw in a cinema was "Men In Black".

I hasten to add,they were not my choice but my nieces and her boyfriends..ahem!

One film I watched that I liked and loathed in equal measure was the Spanish film "Pan's Labyrinth".very thought provoking stuff and graphic...shudders.

I am totally intolerant of noise /chatter etc  when watching a film,oh and as for folk stocking up with food/drinks etc...hello! most films don't even last two hours these days.So if I could get a cinema to myself..then I may go back.

I thought Inception had a weak beginning, but we stuck with it. All I can say is that it made a change. I keep Trying to catch Sex n Drugs n Rock n Roll. (I was a big fan) but it always seems too late.

Oh I like SCi fi stuff...not star wars or independance day shit.I love "Blade Runner" and "2001,a space OdysseY"..".Open the pod bay door HAL" I'm sorry Dave but I can't do that"... but I loved the send up of Indepenance day "Mars Attacks" actually because I'm old enough to have colled the original " Tops" cards..

Though I did like the fifth Element, even with it's over the top crap etc...the story was actually quite good.
