I'm glad you say that because it echos my sentiments exactly and it really upsets me when people make remarks about her disability. Dislike her for the sort of person she is yes. BUT don't knock how she has overcome a dreadful injury.

She sounds a bit croaky to me but I'm not entirely sure it's not a poor quality recording. Sounds a bit like she's doing a generic American rock-lite singer songwriter accent and not quite pulling it off. I wouldn't say awful at all, just a bit unpolished. I think that may be the intention.
