I will also be glad to see the back of Xin.  Have to say though, that this was not Tina's best idea..... no way would I have my fella/hubby to be, marrying someone else, and living with her, just to get her visa... This had disaster written all over it from the onset.

Didn't see yesterdays (was out) but they've ruined Tina now and MK only gets the attention due to her looks because the public hardly take notice of her acting skills. I think she's a good actress though.

They are discussing Ms Collins' accent on R5. The issue may be that she is type cast as a cock-er-nee IMO. I don't think There us anything wrong with her dialect at all. Most of the peeps criticising wouldn't be able to tell the difference between Rochdale and Bury, or Bolton and Horwich. I'll 'ave fer ter ger fer a look elsewhere.

Nothing wrong with her, they should have just given her a Cockney accent because people like do move area obviously if they were concerned with the accent. Some will just see her as Cindy Beale from EastEnders which of course was her biggest role.

 

On another note Carla is wonderful, so hot and much better than the overrated Tina.

I actually like Michelle Collins in Corrie much more than I thought I would. 

 

I have to ask though..... has anybody else noticed that she seems to be showing a LOT of interest in Leanne?  She is quite intrigued by her and friendly, and she went proper mad, when her daughter had a go at her...  Does anyone know anything?...  Me and hubby have a theory that she may be Leanne's mom!

 

Even though she looks about 42, Michelle is actually FIFTY, and as Lianne is 33, she is 17 years older, so she *could' be her mom...  Nobody has actually ever seen Leanne's mom have they?

I felt so sorry for Carla.  Alison King is a fab actress and really glad she got more screentime.

Agree with your post a lot. I like Carla too.....  And Becky is so annoying and predictable.  I mean, FFS, whenever she has any kind of bust up with Steve, she turns into the nasty little chav she always was; boozing and smoking and being a gobshite and slagging around with other men.  I mean, what if we ALL went that way when a crisis hit our lives?  Its like Eastenders; whenever PHIL has a micro crisis, he turns to the bottle again and forgets to shave, turns into a monster pig and treats everyone like shit and shags other women.  Pathetic.

 

And OMG Sophie SO getting on my nerves banging on about that bloody homeless shelter. As for EE;  I cannot STAND that Rainie creature, acting like a slag with every man she meets and she gives me the creeps... she has such a sly look about her.  And that doctor bloke is horrid too!

 

Back to Corrie....what do you think of mine and Saz's theory about Stella Darloboy?  That she may be Leanne's mom?

 

Steve and Becky never worked as a couple, the actors do have good on screen chemistry though.

 

Disagree about Sophie though as I think Brooke Vincent is a good actress but can see why some people find her annoying.
